Funkce Auto-Sync aplikace MediaMonkey for Windows běžně synchronizuje se zařízením pouze jednu kopii souboru. Skladby mohou být zbytečně znovu synchronizovány, pokud:
- Časové razítko souboru v MediaMonkey pro Windows je novější než na zařízení. K tomu může dojít, pokud:
- Soubory mají časové razítko s datem budoucnosti.
- Souborový server, počítač se systémem MediaMonkey pro Windows a zařízení, které se synchronizuje, aby měly hodiny nastavené na různé časy. Nastavením na odpovídající časy to vyřešíte.
- Cílový formát synchronizace se po synchronizaci sady souborů změní, což způsobí, že další operace automatické synchronizace bude mít duplikáty. Řešením je povolit „Odstranit další soubory a seznamy skladeb ze zařízení“.
- Je použit nestandardní formát synchronizace cíle založený na názvech playlistů. např. pokud se stopa objeví ve více seznamech stop, cíl s <Seznam stop> v cestě bude mít více kopií stopy.
- Ruční synchronizace souborů může vytvořit duplikáty souborů, které byly dříve synchronizovány.
- Pokud má zařízení více úložných míst (např. interní úložiště + SD karta), jsou synchronizační profily pro každé umístění konfigurovány nezávisle, takže je například možné náhodně vybrat stejného interpreta v obou profilech, což má za následek duplikáty.
MediaMonkey for Windows’s Auto-Sync functionality normally syncs only one copy of a file to a device. Tracks may be unnecessarily re-synced if:
- The timestamp of the file in MediaMonkey for Windows is more recent than that on the device. This can occur if:
- The files have a future-dated timestamp.
- The file server, PC running MediaMonkey for Windows, and the device being synced to have clocks set at different times. Setting them to matching times will resolve this.
- The destination sync format is changed after syncing a set of files, causing the next auto-sync operation to have duplicates. The solution is to enable ‘Delete other files and playlists from the device’.
- A non-standard destination sync format based on Playlist names is used. e.g. if a track appears in multiple playlists, a destination with the <Playlist> in the path will have multiple copies of a track.
- Manually syncing files can create duplicates of files that have previously been synced.
- If a device has multiple storage locations (e.g. internal storage + SD Card), the sync profiles for each location are configured independently, so for example, it’s possible to accidentally choose the same Artist in both profiles, resulting in duplicates.
